This was family’s first adventure with a fishing charter and I couldn’t have chosen a better Boat, Captain and Mate than Bonehead with Capt. Jimmy and Mitch! We didn’t catch the most fish, but we caught plenty and most importantly but we had a great time, and Mitch was great with all the questions from my confident and independent 8 year old! He even gave us some excellent advice about visiting Ocracoke and he was spot-on! 10/10, will book again!

Capt Jimmy and the crew were great with the group, especially the youngest and all his questions. Boat was comfortable with all 6 of the group on board and they ensured that all of us landed at least one fish in the conditions. Not a lot of fish caught (that we could keep anyway) but a good time was had. PS Dramamine does not work for everyone! Didn’t let that spoil the day though!

We had a beautiful day of fishing. Unfortunately we only caught one keeper the rest were lizard fish. Capt. James & his first mate Jason are amazing they tried everything to get us some more keepers. But as we all know sometimes the fish just aren’t biting. Love my t-shirt, I wore it to a ZZ Top concert, I was a sharped dress man.

Fantastic half day charter with Bonehead Charter. The guys were personal, knowledgeable and professional. We caught a ton of fish and had a great time doing so. This was our first ever charter, and we would book with them again in a heartbeat. Looking forward to our all day offshore charter in the future!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Jim and his first mate, Mitch! They were very professional and knew where to take us. The boat is immaculate and you can tell that both the captain and his first mate take great pride in the boat! We are looking forward to making our fish tacos!
