I can’t begin to say enough about the amazing experience our family had with Captain Randy!!  From the initial meet up till the end the half day trip everything was perfect.  Captain Randy is very knowledgeable about the area and where the fish are given the current conditions and helped us with tips and tricks to keep the lines tight all day. Great personality, safe and the music was awesome. We actually tried to book again the following day but unfortunately for us he was booked out the rest of the week.  You will not regret a day out with Captain Randy and salty foot charters!!

My partner & I are avid anglers in the northeast & wanted to do a fun trip while vacationing in Florida & not have to worry about getting blown out due to weather. Well it blew 20-30 due north all day , so we were very happy we booked a trip to fish the mangroves &  docks with the salty foot. We just wanted to catch as many species as possible & get plenty of bites, for once it wasn’t about filling the freezer like we normally due up in Jersey & it was about fun!

Capt. Randy had us on insane ultralight drag pulling action all day. We caught mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, lane snapper, pin fish, lady fish, jack crevalle, atlantic blowfish, black drum, hard head catfish, sheepshead, speckled sea trout, checkered blowfish, & blue runner. We went through 15 dozen live shrimp!

If any of yall are down south & want to have a fun action filled day this is the way to go. I highly recommend it especially for kids or new anglers, we did an 8hr trip but capt also does 4hr which would’ve been plenty of time for most people.. Boats is incredibly fast and comfy, took a 2ft chop from a wake with ease & cut right through the wind chop on our way up river. We also had dolphins swimming about a foot from the boat for about an hour as well, Capt is a sweetheart of a guy & he gets the jmurr stamp of approval. I fish Massachusetts, Rhode island, New jersey, Maryland & Virginia every year & capt. Randy ranks up there with the great group of charter boats I normally fish.

We took enough keeper mangroves for dinner to a local restaurant & they were amazing! Was perfect valentines day for us & we owe it all to Capt. Randy

Randy was great considering the conditions. It was drizzling when we met to go fishing but it looked like the rain was heading out. We thought it would get better quicker but it was fairly miserable for awhile.  Randy did keep moving to find fish and we did catch some but not many keepers. He talked to us about the area and it was very interesting. Just wish the fish were biting more. I was impressed with his trolling motor which allowed us to stay in one spot without putting an anchor out. We had plenty of bait for the four hours, too.

Had a great half day trip on Salty Foot charters. Captain Randy was extremely knowledgeable about the fishing and region. He was also very personable and made for an excellent time on the water. We were able to spend time both out on the ocean and did some inshore fishing. Ended the day catching some ladyfish that were fun to fight. Captain Randy filleted all of our fish and did a good job keeping the lines tight the whole time. Definitely plan on using him in the future.

What a great day on the river.Capt. Randy took myself and my two boys out for an excellent fishing adventure.  Randy was highly knowledgeable and friendly.  We caught a nice variety of fish and learned much about the native fish of the Indian River. I will most definitely use Capt. Randy again and highly recommend the Salty Foot charter for your Indian River adventure. Thank you Capt. Randy for a most excellent time.
