We had a great trip! Brad is a fantastic guide and got us all the species. We spent a full day on the water and moved around quite a bit but we were able to get fish at every spot. Even when other charters went in due to wind, we stayed out and had a great day. Comfortable boat to fish from, with a fantastic captain. I’ve already told my brother to look him up the next time he’s here for business.

We had an outstanding day with Captain Brad. Our original scheduled day was looking iffy, Capt Brad called and suggested we re-book for a couple of days later. We had action throughout the day with a nice mixed catch of Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, Kitties and Red Fish with two being Bulls. The boat and gear were A1, I’d definitely recommend a charter with Speck Dat.

I can not say enough about Capt. Brad and his services, we caught numerous types of fish every day including a bull red. We booked a 3 day trip and it surpassed all of our expectations. We were told the fishing was going to be a little tough but it was anything other than that….we saw a manatee in lake borgne, salt water otters in lake catherine, and a pod of porpoises in lake ponchartrain, not to mention the alligators, lady fish etc…. Capt. D’Alfonso did a great job. The weather wasn’t perfect, but capt. managed to keep us out of the wind and rain and we still caught a limit of fish. He was personable, knowledgeable, and it was an overall great experience. You will not find a better all-around inshore charter captain. I cannot recommend “Spek Dat” enough!
