As a first time angler the trip with DJ made me love fishing! He definitely know the best spots , and what I really appreciated is that he won’t rest til we hooked on fish , and big ones !!! Capt DJ is an experienced fishing guide and accommodated our desire to fly fish along with conventional spinning gear.  He does not sit on a spot if the fish are not there but keeps moving to find fish, I appreciate that!  He also went out of his way to show us the different birds and sites the keys have to offer; we had a great experience travelling thru crocodile country and seeing many.  We caught snook, redfish, trout, etc…etc…and even had a chance on some tarpon! Highly recommend!

We had a great day with Captain DJ!  He was great with my boys (very patient) and put us on a bunch of fish.  Picked us up right at our hotel on the water and dropped us off when we were done.  Would highly recommend Captain DJ to families and people looking to enjoy a good day of fishing in the upper Keys.

This was our first Florida Charter.  We asked Captain DJ to get us catching fish and that is what he did.  He got us into catfish, jack, spotted trout, and a lot of snook. We lost count after 15 snook. To bad they were out of season.  I would highly recommend Captain DJ and hope to get back out with him soon.

We really enjoyed our trip with Captain DJ! We caught speckled sea trout, 6-7 lb Snook, and huge redfish. The Everglades are beautiful and he picked us up from Baker’s Cay Resort in Key Largo. Captain DJ found the best spots and was a lot of fun to spend the day with.  Highly recommend!!
