Captain Shannon was a great guy with a positive attitude. He was very professional with his communications, and sharing his knowledge with us.
The boat was nice, felt safe and had no mechanical issues. The equipment was also in good working order. The trip was fun, the weather was nice, but we just couldn’t get on the fish. After getting skunked all day, Capt Shannon took us to a little spot off Dana point where we caught small bass, mackerel, and barracuda. It was apparent that Capt Shannon was as bummed as we were that we didn’t manage to find/catch any of the big game fish we were targeting. We appreciated him putting us on the smaller fish to, at least, catch something.
