Captain Jeff called a couple of days prior to the trip to report that fishing was way down in prior week and water was pretty rough this week so not many boats were going out.  Of those that went out, getting 2 fish in a trip was high, and according to weather reports the day of our trip could be pretty rough.  Wanted to let us know the situation so we could cancel if we wanted.  We appreciate his honesty and did end up canceling.  We will be rebooking with him for our next trip when we can get our schedules to mesh.

We took a 4am - 10am charter with Jeff and Alex. The water was as calm as I’ve ever seen on Lake Michigan. The fish were biting great right away in the morning and slowed down considerably once the sun came up, so next time we might even try a little earlier trip. We ended up with 5 fish, but we had probably a dozen bites. Jeff and Alex did a great job and were very friendly to work with! We’ll be back in the future!

We’d been out of Algoma before, but our Captain retired and we were a little leary to try someone new.
NO PROBLEM HERE - Midnight Run Charter was just what we needed.  A nice roomy boat with a Captain & 1st Mate that showed us where the fish were.  Professional and knowledgeable with just enough humor to keep things light and fun between strikes.
We’ll be back and we’ll be back out with Midnight Run.

Had family in town from all over.  Took some of them for a half day drip!!!  Jeff (Captain) and Jake (deck hand) were awesome.  Funny, knowledgable and so easy to work with and get along with.  Been on charters before… this was by far the most relaxed and enjoyavle crew.

Caught lots of trout and even a king Salmon. Captain Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed the trip so much that we booked it again with him (this time to try the early morning trip).
