The trip was great. Fishing was a little slow, but the mate kept changing the lures, and the captain kept trolling so we did end up catching a bunch of good eating Spanish Mackerel. We had one little girl with us with a broken arm, who was shy and didn’t want to fish until the end, and the captain kept us out until she caught one too. So very kind. The group consensus is we would do it again.

This was our first time going deep sea fishing. It was a blast going out with Captain Shane and his First Mate Parker and Shawn. They were very knowledgeable, put us on fish within minutes of getting to our destination and we were one fish shy of maxing out our King Mackerel catch for the day!! Would definitely recommend this charter and will be using this team again for future trips to the NC Coast!

What a great day!  Captain Carl is as nice as they get, and it was clear from our arrival that he was there to make sure we caught fish and had fun.  We were hoping to get into some King Mackeral, and we were one of only 2 boats to get one, but they just weren’t biting.  So we switched gears, and came in-shore where we slayed the Spanish.  Deckhand Coby was top notch as well — super nice and always working.  Spacious, comfortable boat as well.  I heartily recommend Captain Carl and the... Had a great time on my 3rd charter with Fish Witch. Captain Shane and Parker worked non-stop to keep our lines clear of grass giving us more chances to hook up.  We ended up catching some great fish and some new species for a few members of the group.  We will to continue to use Fish Witch and recommend them for your next trip.
