Just back from a fantastic day out today, fishing started off a bit slow but the guides very extensive experience of the venue really paid off, with a very enjoyable days fishing many Peacocks, a Snook and even 2 Oscars right at the end.
Great tackle and lure selection provided, fantastic lunch, many ice cold drinks, very interesting fishing and non-fishing conversation and convenient pick up / drop off.
A great location with many interesting species to fish for and a great guide all made this a very memorable trip indeed, 11 out of 10 for sure!!!

We fished the Gatun Lake yesterday. Unfortunately we got a late start. The chart is great for new anglers and bass fishing enthusiasts. Capt Gerald is a great guy. He really makes you feel at home. He makes every attempt to put you on fish. It’s best to start in the morning. We launched from Laguna which is a 1.5 hour drive from Panama City. The fishing was slow mid day as expected. It began to pick in the afternoon. For $255 you can’t be it. It also gives you a change to see all of the habitats along the lake and canal. Lots of birds and monkeys.
