We had an awesome time! Our captain was super knowledgeable and had a ton of great equipment. He was very accommodating and did well to relocate and get us to different spots when fish weren’t biting and was so awesome to keep us out of most of the weather. He provided rain gear and towels in the little bit of weather we couldn’t avoid. We were successful to catch the mahi fish we were hoping for and even got an amazing video, probably once in a lifetime experience to see and capture the biggest shark I’ll probably ever see chasing after the mahi we were able to pull in before he tried stealing it off our line. The shark was HUGE. We are all in agreement it had to be a great white by the size and color of his dorsal fin and tail. You can see by the video it was about 150 feet away and was ginormous. Such a cool experience and so glad to have captured the video. Even though we didn’t catch as many keepers as we’d hoped it was a great experience and had a blast. Captain James showed us a great time and we are definitely going to book with him on our future trips to Destin. Highly recommend!!!

Thanks for an awesome review. Yes the shark was definitely a once in a lifetime event…. and you got it all on video. So cool. Fishing was a bit slow but managed a few nice fights . And then we also go a great show with the dolphins 1 ft from the boat right near the end of the trip. In all a great experience on the big blue. Thanks for the video. I have sent a copy to the fish and game department to make sure they are aware of a shark that big so near the beach. Looking forward to our next adventure.
