I booked a family fishing trip with my husband, myself, our three adult kids, and our son’s buddy. My husband, son, and his buddy were the ones fishing. Captain Scott and First Mate Jim were helpful and friendly. They made conversation with us and we were able to bring snacks and drinks. The boat is nice, with an area below deck to sit if you need to get out of the sun for awhile. Scott and Jim worked hard the whole time, setting up the rods, helping the guys net the the fish, etc. We caught some nice walleye, a steelhead trout, and a striped bass. My only complaint is that Scott would not allow me to take a picture of each guy with his first catch. I was told “No” and that we could only take pictures with the fish back at the dock. He made the guys put them straight in the cooler. It would have taken 10 seconds to snap a picture. The pictures I took of the guys with their fish, back at the dock were just ok- the background was very busy with lots of boats and brown water. I was really looking forward to getting some beautiful shots on the lake with the blue water and horizon in the background. For a trip that cost hundreds of dollars, that shouldn’t have been too much to ask. We weren’t there just for the fish, it was about making memories.
