Honeymoon fishing trip!! We couldn’t have asked for a better captain. He made sure my wife had everything she needed to have a fun a trip. I wouldn’t say I’m a pro but I know my way around fishing. As the captain and I discussed I asked if he could help her out more than myself, and he did!!! We were able to set a hook into a beautiful amber jack but we were 4 inches short of an excellent dinner but we enjoyed every second of it!!! We will DEFINITELY book again with Captain James!!!

Wonderful service throughout the whole trip! Captain James was very accommodating; making sure we knew where the restrooms and life jackets were. He took us to multiple fishing spots making sure we were able to catch some fish. My husband and I had a blast catching fishing while Captain James kept score. We definitely can’t wait to plan a trip in the future with him for some more fishing fun!

This was our first time fishing in the ocean and Captain James went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience! He did a great job getting us to some awesome fishing spots and making everything fun and easy. He made sure we were all comfortable and having a great time. We ended up catching plenty of snapper and mahi-mahi to make two delicious meals. I cannot recommend him enough!

Had a good trip, it was cold, which we knew. Captain James, the boat & equipment were all great. Struggled to catch many fish, which was frustrating. We understood that’s fishing, tough to pay a lot & not hit it well, but we chose to come in off season so to speak, because we wanted to get out of MN for a week.

Thanks for a great review, even with a very slow bite. We have colder water temperatures this year and makes things a little more tough fishing conditions. We made the best of it, hit alot of different spots. Only found one good spot until the sharks showed up. Great effort but definitely thin on the fish. I still had a great time with you on the water. Hopefully we can get back out in better condition and have a epic day. Captain James Scott

We had a 6 hour trip with Captain James in early November. Not exactly known as a great fishing season. James came prepared and had us on fish immediately! Even if our first few got taken by sharks. With Amberjack and snapper out of season, we were very limited with what we could keep but still brought home some meat. We would definitely book with Apex again!
