Me and my two boys (14 and 16) had a great time going inshore finishing (4-6 miles out).  We caught some great fish that we ate for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Danny and his crew!  I would recommend to novice or expert anglers.

We (myself, husband and 8 year old daughter) had a great time fishing with Daniel yesterday.  Not only did we catch fish, but Daniel and his crew member Johnny were fantastic.  They were so kind and hard working to make sure we had a great time.  I would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to Tamarindo looking for a great fishing trip!

We got on some little black Finn tuna, early and often then the wind came up. We had a rough couple hours and got wet but captain Johnny n 1st mate james didn’t give in on our trip!  We lost something big in the afternoon maybe a wahoo?  When we caught a tuna mackerel, which was delicious.  Sashimi!  Then the big bull shark over an hour!!!

I chose Maryola because of the reviews about Daniel. People who love to fish understand that you should never choose a charter by the boat, but instead,  by the Captain.  Daniel is an experienced and passionate fisherman. We had so much fun that we booked a second trip a few days later to try some bottom fishing. Daniel is the right choice for fishermen/women who want to have fun and catch fish. Johnny, his mate, worked very hard to keep us fishing. He also cleaned and fileted all our fish. We caught a bunch.

Pleasant fishing experience with captain and crew.  We caught plenty of different species of fish just fishing a half day.  I will use them again next time in Costa Rica!!!
