I booked this trip with one goal in mind - to see the smile on my son’s face when he hooked his first fish and Captain Harry and first mate Daniel did not disappoint. We had an awesome time and hauled in more than 20 fish of varying species on a very clean, well-organized boat. Captain Harry made the entire experience simple from beginning to end and was professional and communicative throughout. These guys were expert in getting us on the fish, very friendly and committed to making our trip memorable.  My son is still talking about it and for me there was nothing more important than spending quality time with my boy. I highly recommend these guy if you’re looking to book an excursion. It was well worth it in so many ways!

Harry and his crew man, JT, were wonderful. Harry kept in constant contact before the trip so I was reassured to have everything I needed and know where to meet him. Once we got onboard he immediately shared all safety equipment. The boat was immaculate. They both did their very best to keep us fishing and catching!!!! They jumped in to help yet stayed back and let us reel them in on our own.  He was in a great spot according to his fishfinder but we just weren’t catching so he repositioned the boat two times and it was just a fish frenzy for about 20-30 minutes. Harry let us know when we were on our last 10 minutes, and we all caught keepers in that time. His sense for knowing the waters was second to none. They were both very accommodating in cleaning and separating the fish for us. I would definitely fish with them again and recommend them very highly.

I booked the trip for me and my 11 YO son to go for dorado, but hoped for a yellowfin tuna or maybe even bluefin. The captain reached out ahead of time to plan the trip and go through the checklist. The captain and crew had a great attitude, was on time and did their best to deliver a special present - the bluefin. He really wanted to exceed expectations and delight me. Took a bit to find the fish and we almost ran out of time but he was not going to let me go home without a fish. It was a big fish, so he offered a separate butcher service who picked yup the fish, butchered it and vacuum packed. A trip of a lifetime!

Great experience with Captain Harry and First Mate Daniel!  Through extensive online searching, we chose this charter based on the effusive comments about Harry and the varied fishing charter options.  Our family group of 4 caught our boat limit of calico (kelp) bass, a male California sheephead, fought two yellowtail (landing one), and two barracuda.  We also battled the occasional sea lion at a couple of our fishing spots (sea lions win that battle!).  In short, the fishing was serious, varied (even trolling for tuna/marlin on the way out) and active (we were seldom without someone having a fish on the line).  Equally as important as the serious fishing, was the fun, informative interactions with Harry and Daniel throughout the day.  This was the trip we were looking for - I highly recommend.
