I liked everything about this trip. This was my first time to go after spoonbills. I couldn’t have asked for any better guide than Captain Bill and his friend Tom. They knew exactly where to find these big fish and had the right equipment, rods, & tackle. The boat was the exact size and ideal model needed for this lake & this type trip. It was smooth in the rough water, comfortable, and safe by design. A trip is always most fun in the presence and care of good people. We all had a lot in common and it was enjoyable fishing & visiting with two knowledgeable, friendly, hard working, & easy going guys while I caught 7 of these huge Paddlefish AKA Spoonbill. If I go back to any of the lakes & rivers that Bill works, he will be the guide that I call.
