Captain Matt met us ahead of schedule and was very informative about are fishing trip for the day. We anchored up on a jetty and started catching fish right away. Although the weather forecast was totally wrong, he fought the conditions and the anchor to keep us in the fish. We had my two grandsons with me and they were asking if we could do it again!! I would recommend Captain Matt very highly and give him a 10 out of 10!!

Caption Matthew is very knowledgeable and friendly. We took our daughter and two friends out for a trip to celebrate her birthday. We started off catching bait fish to use for later. Wasn’t long after that before Captain Matthew had us on top of the Bull Reds. We caught our limit of Bull Red then headed out to catch a couple of sharks. We highly recommend Nautilus Charter. We will be back again. We took our catch to a local restaurant recommended by Capt. Matthew to have our freshly caught fish prepared that he had just cleaned for us. The best seafood we have had. Doesn’t get any better. Thank you Capt. Matthew for a great experience.

Captain Matt was very personable and professional. Handled all fishing needs and wasn’t 5 minutes before we were reeling in fish which lasted until we left. Great time and the captain was a really good guy. Recommend nautilus charters to whoever wants a good fishing adventure.

First time fishing from a boat in Galveston. Matthew West with the Purple Chicken was amazing! His expertise in finding the right spot helped my mom catch her biggest fish yet with a bull Red on the line. His kindness made it very comfortable and fun on board. We also caught some sheepshead. Thank you Matt for a great time and filleting our fish at the end of the trip. We hope to see you again!
