One of the best fishing captains we have ever fished with. Andy was very knowledgeable about the fish we we fishing for.  We caught red fish, snook, snapper and barracuda in the back waters. Great conversations went on all day.  We really appreciate a great time on the water especially in inclement weather.

Half-day morning slot with Andy. Professional, incredibly experienced, expert on the water. We learned so much about every part of the trip. This guy is brilliant!!! With a Coast Guard background and a passion for fishing, Andy answered every single question we had with a story and an in-depth answer. He is entertaining and personable, attentive and a wonderful teacher! Three older teenage boys, mom and dad went on the trip and everyone votes for Andy next year. The boat we had was awesome. The kids want to go off-shore next year… what was especially helpful was Andy explained why offshore doesn’t quite work from Sarasota during the current season. My kids are always asking to go deep-sea fishing and every time I look in Sarasota I can’t quite find it. It sounds like deep-sea requires more time and a trip way out there. (So for the moms whose kids keep asking to go deep-sea fishing this inshore fishing trip was so so fun, and it was helpful to be with someone who knew a TON about offshore/deep-sea.)
We caught (and just cooked) redfish and red snapper. Along with snook, and some other fish that were fun to catch but were too small to keep.

Exactly what we were hoping for with three dads and three boys ages 13 - 16. Action packed, expertly captained by Christian, lots of fish, and easy to work with the Reel Tight team.  We’ll be back!

We only came to town for a short weekend and did the 3 hour trip and highly recommend it. Our guide Andy was absolutely incredible with his knowledge of the area and of the fish. The entire staff at Reel Tight Fishing Charters was incredibly friendly and great to work with. We had a blast and caught a ton of fish in our short trip and we cannot wait to do it again.
