Trent is a good dude that can find fish. It was super windy (15+kts) so Trent called me to game plan and set expectations. Of which he blew away. Great guy, great conversation and better fishing. We tried a few tactics and ended up getting some good action at the beginning and hooking a huge Tarpon. Bad luck he broke off but what an experience.

We were looking for a suitable shorter trip with a 10-year-old. Trent runs a 3-hour excursion — we saw lots of 2 and 4 hour trips but very few 3 — and we were out on the bay side where it was calmer. This was ideal for us. He was very patient with our lack of experience and with our son, and we ended up taking some nice snapper home for dinner despite other guides on the bay side saying it wasn’t a great fishing day. The boat is spotless and comfortable and Trent worked hard to make sure we had a nice time and caught some fish!

We had a great & relaxing day fishing with Captain Trent. If they were not biting in one area we quickly moved on to the place he thought they would be biting. AND they were. Captain Trent kept us well baited and knew what worked best in each are. Caught some Snappers that were keepers and a couple of Groupers. Captain Trent recommended we take the fish that he had cleaned for us to the restaurant next door. They cooked us a fabulous meal with our fresh catch. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
