Captain Marcelino and first mate were great hosts and made us feel completely comfortable. We prepared for trip with Dramamine. I suggest it for all fishing trips. We had a short trip in the morning and would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
Fantastic trip, great boat and crew. The fish we caught was expertly cleaned and the local restaurant prepared it for our party for both lunch and dinner.
It was hard fishing because the ocean was not as calm as usual, however, we all had such a great time! The captain was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun!
Captain Marcelo’s boat wasn’t working but he lined us up another charter. Hate we couldn’t fish with Marcelo because he was nice and friendly and quick to respond to messages. The charter we went with was very nice and friendly. A great time was had by all and we caught loys of fish
Fishing in Aruba is typically a very rough adventure for those who don’t have “sealegs”, the water was once again very choppy with 8-10 ft swells, not for the faint of heart if you want to catch big fish. Nobody got sea sick but we also took dramamine an hour before the charter. The captain and mate were great hosts, they were experienced, proffesional and funny! We hooked up with mahi (lost them) Tuna (lost them) Kingfish (my new favorite) and capped it off with a big wahoo (tasty!) The fish we brought home covered us for 3 meals (10 people) and saved us about $1,000 in restaurant tabs. I highly recommend this trip as long as you don’t mind the rough surf.
