Brian was well prepared and great to converse yet. His equipment was in good working order and the bait was fresh. He was very patient with my 10 year old niece helping her catch her first redfish. We all caught fish, which was second to just spending time with family today. We enjoyed our trip greatly.

Captain Garris takes his fishing business seriously. His boat is clean, fast and rigged to keep you on the fish. He has ample rods depending on the type of fish present. We used various techniques for redfish, flounder and speck. We boated several fish, including redfish and flounder. Unfortunately, they were too small or too large. Captain Garris did his part, we did our part, but the fish did not do their part. Still a great day of fishing!

I’ve had a hard time finding a good fishing charter in the Charleston area so I am very glad to have found Captain Brian.  He is an excellent communicator.  We knew exactly where to meet him and once there, he clearly instructed us on what to do and what not to do.  The time from when we were underway to when we had hooks in the water was just a few minutes.  We had our first fish within a few mins after that.

The Wando River is not only beautiful but it is also plentiful.  Brian took us around where he has been fishing for decades.  This was six hours of the most productive fishing I’ve ever enjoyed.

Brian is very knowledgable of area and devoted to making the experience an enjoyable one. He upholds a high level of communication and instruction ensuring that every minute counts. His level of effeciency and manerisms defines the oustanding individual he is!

My friend and I had a great time with Captain Brian. He worked hard to help us find fish, was knowledgeable about the local area, and was a friendly and professional guide. Would recommend for anyone looking to book a trip for redfish!
