I feel like the trip should have been cancelled because of the extremely high winds. The water was extremely rough the water muddy which made for very poor fishing. They should have knownthat those conditions would make for poor fishing

I understand that it is fishing and that you are not guaranteed to catch big fish, or even a lot of fish. The only problem I had with this trip was the topwater lures. I specifically requested to throw topwater all day to catch Tarpon. I understand that they are a difficult to fish to catch. But with that being said, the lures did not have a front treble. This not only decreased our hookup ratio, but also made the lure unbalanced and walk incorrectly. We caught fish. Nothing big, and no Tarpon. That is no problem. The problem is I just believe we didn’t have much of a chance to land one with the way the lure was. The guide said they took the treble off because of the seaweed, but I would much rather pull seaweed off my lure and have a better hookup ratio then to not pull it off and not be able to hook one. The seaweed was not even above the surface of the water. Overall, the guide and other guys back at the office were very friendly and very attentive. This trip has the potential to be a GREAT trip if they fixed the lures. I bet I missed 20 fish today on topwater because of the missing treble. As much as I hate to put that I don’t recommend this trip, I can’t say that I do until the treble hook issue is resolved. In closing though, you don’t have to request topwater specifically. I am sure that it would be different otherwise. This entire message is strictly about the topwater lures.

Had a good time fishing on both days.  The fish weren’t biting, so a full day was a bit long.  The Captain did what he could to get us on the fish.  Day 2 ended with awesome fish.

usted conoces un buen guía en un malo día de la pesca. desafortunadamente nuestra experiencia con la compañía fue decepcionante. material no era apropiado. no se había senulos duros, y softs estaban disponibles en una Caja con pocas opciónes. Las moscas de Fly muy mal atadas en muy poca cantidad y principalmente ya se utilizadas. No havia una sola seducer y havia un solo Ep Fiber mínnow totalmente destruido, estos dos moscas, además de muy eficaces son muy útiles en una situación de viento que se presentó el día. si yo sabía que sería asi lo que habría pedido para atar rápidamente dos o tres moscas antes de ir a la pesca. en la pesca, estábamos a pescar con mosca, pero en ningún momento nos dijeron que los dos pescadores no podía pesca al mismo tiempo, sólo cuando llegamos en el barco. al final passamos lá maior parte del tiempo con spinning y a pesar de que decir que nuestro objetivo fue para obtener snook y tarpons el guía nos llevó la mayoría de los puntos de tiempo de spinning en locais de trucha y perca. El guia há pescado la mayor parte del tiempo pero no nos pregunto si podría o si sería conveniente o hacer. ya há pescado en muchos lugares y en las mejores operaciones el guía no pesca, además de los mejores guías son aquellos que tenes ganas para ver el cliente pegar su objectivo que no midem los esfuerzos para que sucede y nuestro guía por desgracia preocupaba sólo a la hora de ir ao regresso, el resultado no tuvo nada y ao llegar al final del día en que las acciones parecía que estavam a aumentar nuestro guía no consideró la posibilidad de darnos un tiempo adicional por lo que podría obtener un solo robalo de recordacion. como el Lago es un Lago muy hermoso en realidad, pero parece que sufren una gran presión de la pesca. el barco es bueno y todo estaba listo y organizado cuando llegamos. desafortunadamente creo que la operación precisa evolucionar mucho para ser a la altura del precio que és cobrado para 4 horas de pesca, pagamos el precio de 2 días de pesca en el Amazonas o 1,5 días en Cuba ambos lugares con un nivel de la pesca mucho mayor.
