What a blast!
Captain Tom is a great host and knows how to find fish. Our group was catching steady diring duration of entire trip.
Crew was very professional, well organized, everything went well, can’t wish any better way to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday with his friends.
We’ll definetely fish with Captain Tom again.

Went on an afternoon trip with my 6 year old grandson his dad and his uncle.  It was his first time fishing.
Captain Tom and his first mate Rob did everything to make this a memorable trip for him.  At first my grandson wouldn’t get close to the fish we caught.  But Capt Tom and Rob kept him engaged and turned him into a fisherman.
The transformation was complete when Capt Tom filleted the fluke my grandson caught and tossed some inners to the gulls. With Capt Tom’s encouragement my grandson took the stomach and threw it to the waiting birds.  Wow.
I whole heartedly recommend these guys for creating a great adventure for your youngster and a memorable day for the adults as well.

We caught a striped bass up to nearly 50 inches today! And we used “weirdest way” to catch the biggest fish :)! Also, since we didn’t catch some fish when it closed to the end of the trip, captain Tom took us to many extra fishing spots to fish, and we caught 2 big striped bass and 1 big blue fish. After catching the first bass, we thought the trip was going to end, but captain spent lots of extra time take us back and forth to catch the fish! It’s really nice of the captain and the mate! I actually had one experience to fish with private charter before, but at that time, that captain (from other charters) was very rude and unsettling, always yelling at us. So when I booked the trip with captain, I was very nervous. But the captain is very nice and willing to help us. Captain and the mate made our day! Definitely gonna fish with the captain again. Best captain and crew in NYC!

It was a wonderful day and grat time thank you so much for captain Tom and Rob they was so nice and professional they really made our day we was a group of friends some of us never been fishing before but they love it thank you so much for Rob he was very friendly and very helpful person I really recommend Goin’ Fishin Charters give it a try and you will see its really clean boat and the crew they make sure you are having fun
