Our Ice Fishing Trip with Captain Justin was an excellent experience. It was our first time ice fishing and he took the time to explain each step of the process, make recommendations for gear and supplies, and explain every method of ice fishing. He provided many tips and tricks for tip up fishing, dead sticking, and jigging, including demonstrating how to jig with the help of a fish finder. He and the assistant guide set up many tip ups and checked them often to make sure they were still baited. When the fish stopped biting at our first location he offered to switch us to a new location where we caught over a dozen fish, which he filleted for us. Throughout the trip he checked in often to make sure we were comfortable and warm, and had a heated shanty set up for us to take breaks in. Justin really exceeded our expectations. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the fish you’re catching and the Adirondacks in general. He worked hard in the cold to make it a memorable trip. For first timers, he made us feel right at home and we will definitely be back again!

Justin is great and very professional. We managed to get a lot of trophy sized perch and pickerel.
